Connecting the crossroads of Yangon's past, present and future, Yoma Central sits at the historic junction where Bogyoke Aung San Road and Sule Pagoda Road meet.
In the safest possible way, our work continues. The main and huge effort on site between now and the start of monsoon season is to continue concrete works in all 4 towers and the Energy Centre with the utmost level of safety. To ensure that we are following guidelines from the Ministry of Health and Sports as well as Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security. It is a joint effort to mitigate any health and economic risks related to COVID 19 virus.
As of end March 2020, the concrete, Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) first fix and block works are unaffected as the materials all available locally or already imported. The deep basement is similarly unaffected by the current Covid-19 issues. The concrete works will remain critical through to level 13 and beyond, to allow the façade works to commence in Q3 2020 for The Peninsula Residences Yangon and Office Tower 4.
