South East Asia Students Activities Conference Golf 2019 Tournament held at Pun Hlaing Golf Club

SEASAC exists to support International schools in South-East Asia in achieving their educational goals. Through a range of sporting and artistic activities it aims to promote closer links among teachers, administrators, and students of its member schools; encourage opportunities for healthy competition and the pursuit of excellence; develop and extend social and cultural interaction; and to promote an appreciation of the rights, dignity and worth of every person.
The SEASAC calendar includes 24 events over the academic year. Arts and Model United Nations festivals complement sporting tournaments in badminton, basketball, cross country, football, golf, gymnastics, rugby, softball, swimming, tennis, touch and volleyball. The conference festivals and sporting events are hosted by sixteen member schools, across six South East Asian countries. For over 3,500 students a year SEASAC events are the highlight of their co-curricular school experience and the values learnt and friendships made provide lifelong memories and meaning.

In 2019, the SEASAC Golf Tournament took place in Yangon at the Pun Hlaing Golf Club from 20-22 Nov 2019. Hosted by the ISY, 13 schools participated in the tournament. ISY aims to build a community of compassionate global citizens and the school hoped to broaden the participants' horizons and bring them new cultural experiences and diversity.
Pun Hlaing Golf Club, developed by Yoma Land, voted best course in Myanmar by Asian Golf Awards, carries the reputation as “The Pride of Myanmar” and the No.1 golf club in Myanmar.

The 7,000+ yard Gary Player Signature layout offers some of Asia’s most challenging and rewarding holes of golf which are surrounded by lakes, the Hlaing River and the luxurious homes that form Pun Hlaing Estate.
The golf course is available for play 12 months of the year despite a monsoon season, courtesy of international standard drainage systems and maintenance equipment.
Pun Hlaing Golf Club is a semi-private club that regularly hosts prestigious tournaments and welcomes international golfers whom have the option to stay in the luxurious Awei Metta Hotel with a Gary Player suite overlooking the 18th green. Facilities include a large Putting Green, Golf Academy with coaching from a PGA Professional available for all ages and skill level, a Pro Shop and spacious lockers and changing rooms. The Golf Club has a vibrant membership with corporate options available and regular fun tournaments in addition to a signature annual Club Championship event. Also, the Golf Club boasts some of the best caddies in Myanmar who are experienced to ensure you have the best experience with the least amount of stress.
